Last year I was lucky enough to be involved in creating and delivering some R training to statisticians in the Kenyan National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS). This was in collaboration with Statistics Sweden and Center for the Study of African Economies (CSAE) – Oxford University
The three-day training which was conducted in the KNBS Data Training Center, focused on a few different areas. Firstly, a general introduction to R was designed to build confidence in using R. Then, an exploration of importing data and working with data frames. There was then further content on visualisation and data manipulation.
